70th Independence Day was celebrated in Braithwaite on 15th August 2016. On this auspicious occasion, national tricolor was hoisted by Sri P P Bose, Director Finance in Clive Works and Victoria Works. After hoisting of the flag, Shri bose and other speakers gave brief speech on the importance of the day.
Shri Hemant Kumar, Hon’ble Member Mechanical, Railway Board, Ministry of Railways, Govt. of India and the Railway Officials visited the Corporate Office and Workshops on 11th June 2016 to review the execution of prestigious BOXN(S) Wagon (25 Axle Load). This BOXN(S) Wagon has recently been developed by BCL, which is a first ever initiative in Indian Railways to be used for dedicated freight corridor project.
02 Nos Bogie (ICF Designed) were developed first time at BCL, Victoria Works and fitted with the Prototype Milk Tank Van. Upon receiving the approval of Prototype Milk Tank Van from RDSO, the production (for Milk Tank Vans) will be commenced.
After successful tackling of lots of technical difficulties, the PROTOTYPE Milk Tank Van has been developed which is also a first ever initiative in India. The Oscillation Trial Test of the same has also been successfully completed. The series production of Milk Tank Vans will be started within a short period.
